I hope they Yankees offer Posada a minor league coaching job. I think that would be win-win for everyone.

True there are many who want to compare closers to Mo ie: Gagne and yes Jonathan whom I read was renamed Papelbum. So many have come forward to say their closer is better or going to be better than Mo and yet it's never quite realized by them. Their loss our gain. Mo is the standard that they want to emulate but how do you emulate the total package of Mariano Rivera. Too bad and sad for K-rod who thinks he's a hot rod and might end up as Jail-rod. Like I said NO ONE emulates the Total Package Mo. NO ONE.

Javier Vazquez needs to take equal blame as much as Cervelli for last night's loss. The thing about Vazquez it couldn't be more true than last night that he can't handle a big spot against a good hitting team like the Red Sox. Vazquez did go on a run for a couple months, but your judged not what you do against the likes of a team like the Cleveland Indians or a team along those lines, but the teams that kill the ball. Even though the Yankees essentially didn't give up anything to get Vazquez I knew from day 1 he wouldn't be able to perform in games like these.
