Hey Jack My name is Dennis Szulc, my uncle Kaz grew up with you and my mother Debra Murray used to baby sit you. Sadly my mother passed away yesterday. My father Stanley is a huge Yankee fan and I was wondering if you could say something quickly on a post game show or something. It would really mean a lot to him but I understand if you can't do it. My mother used to tell us all the time about how she baby sat you. If you do get a chance to say something can you please email me at dennis_szulc@yahoo.com so I can make sure my father is watching. Thanks so much. Dennis Szulc

Jack, What Arod did was wrong and he should pay a price if found guilty, as a Student of the game you must find it hard to digest the imperfections of MLB, for instance a local news paper was accusing the Yankee announcers for not going after Arod and his tainted records, that's not their job, the Yankee announcers are there to report lite Yankee News and broadcast the game. I'm sure your aware MLB has had a list for some time now, of over 100 players who tested positive for drugs and has not gone after any of those players, but keep manage to keep ARod's name front and center on the back pages, it's got to be killing the pure baseball fan such as you! The answer to the drug issue is simple, A player should be fined 50 Games The Team a Million Dollars, The union a million dollars and if their are more than 10 players in a Season , disband the union have a  new vote and Fire The Commissioner for not doing his job, that's the best I can do, but I guarantee you it will put an end to drugs! The money goes to whatever Charity! Accountability is a Two Way Street!!!

Jack, I think what A-rod did was wrong and I thing MLB is doing the right thing in cleaning up the game. but in A-Rod's defense I Think MLB messed up by not suspending him in 2010 when he admitted use of enhancing drugs, maybe that would have been a wake up call after losing 50 games and about 12 to 15 million, and this would not be an issue today. That being said why are they giving him 211, days and everyone else 50, he should be given the same as everyone else because he wasn't suspended 2010. but is they want to count 2010, then give 100 days.

Hi Jack, I assume the market for Phil Hughes as a starting pitcher will be a strong one. Do you believe he is invested in remaining a Yankee, or will the biggest deal win him over? Will the Yankees negotiate with Hughes to be the eighth-inning set-up man for Robertson? The past few seasons have proven how valuable the set-up pitcher is (e.g., Soriano) -- would the Yankees consider an aggressive offer to Hughes and would Hughes even consider a bullpen role? His greatest and most consistent success was the year he was in the pen.

Joe's a great manager but it seems that he has been slipping lately on his decision making. 3-8 in the last 11 games and looks like a lopsided loss tonight vs. Baltimore. Is this the Boston Red Sox of 2011? Why did Joe leave Nova in so long. He saw that he had no command and then boom, a grand slam to Davis, who is a notorious for striking out. What are we looking at for the rest of the season? We may be without Texeira for awhile and A-Rod was of no help this year.

Jack, Watching Soriano butcher a hard gotten lead is getting OLD! I heard that the Yanks have a chance to trade him. They should do so in a Heart Beat and and Use Hughes as a 7th inning releiver! The Yanks get rid of a heavy salary and a VERY INEFFECTIVE Pitcher. IT IS HARD TO BELEIVE that he was ever a closer!

Jack, I am a big fan of Francisco Cervelli, Is Girardi going to keep him or Go with Romaine as the back up to Russ Martin?

A grand slam by A Rod, Tex or Swish in Game 5 of the ALDS would have been great. But I digress. Glad to hear Curtis is getting it done in Taiwan.

DEAR JACK; I WAS A LUCKY ONE I SAW GREAT YANKEE BASEALL. UNBELIEVABLE AT TIMES. THOS TEAMS WOULD NOT ALLOW MEDIOCRITY TO STAND IN THE WAY OF VICTORY. PEOPLE WHO SAW IT COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED. SOME THING WAS GOING TO HAPPEN AND WE WOULD CHEER FOR THE YANKEES WINNING ANOTHER WORLD SERIES BACK WHEN I WAS VERY YOUNG. INTO THE 90'S AND THEN WHAT HAPPENED WHEN THE YANKEES ARE SUPERSTARS. SUPERSTARS CARRY THE TEAM TO VICTORY. WHAT HAPPENED? I AM 67 YEARS OLD AND HAVE BEEN A YANKEE FAN FOR 63 YEARS. I FIND THE YANKEE LOSING IN THE ALDS SHOWS LACK OF CARING AND STRENGHT OF CHARACTER. THIS STARTS AT THE TOP. BUT LET ME TALK ABOUT JOE GIRARDI. THE YANKEES WON 98 GAMES WITH A CERTAIN MIX O F PLAYERS AND LINE UPS. THIS HAS HAPPENED IN THE PAST. THEN THE PLAYERSAND LINE UPS CHANGE STEADFAST AND BY THE WAY NOT THE LINE UPS THAT WERE DIVERSE AND MADE WINNING HAPPEN. THIS HAS HAPPEN IN THE PAST. LET US TALK ABOUT THE YANKEE LOST TO TIGERS WITH THE TIGER MANAGER HAD FIVE DIFFERENT LINE UPS FOR EACH GAME. I WOULD SAY SINCE 2003 THE YANKEES STAARTED TO BUY SUPER STARS? IN THE PAST YANKEES WON PENNANTS AND WORLD SERIES UTILIZING BALL PLAYERS WHO WERE HUNGRY TO SHOW THE WORLD HOW GOOD THEY ARE. A REAL TEAM. HOW MANY YANKEE TEAMS WOULD BAT UNDER 200 WHEN PLAYOFF TIME HAPPEN. THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS THE TEAM OR MANY PLAYERS. LET US LOOK AT THE PRESENT A ROD, SWISHER, RUSSELL MARTIN, TEISHERA, AYALA, WADE, SORIANO, AJ ALL QUESTIONNABLE MOT RELIABLE. SECOND YEAR CC HAD IMPLODED IN THE ALCS. POSADA SHOWED HE KNOWS HOW TO STEP UP IN THE PLAY OFFS. NO NO CANO LOOKS LIKE HE DID NOT SHOWED UP IN THREE GAMES THE YANKEES LOST. JETER'S CLUTCH FIELDING AND HITTING WHAT HAPPENED IN THE THREE GAMES LOST. GARDNER GETTING BETTER. SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES SINCE 2003. IN 2009 AROD MADE A CONTRIBUTION STILL WAS HITTING POOR. MATSUI AND JOHNNY DAMON SAVE THE YANKEES. TOO MANY OPPORTUNITIES HAS SHOWN THAT ON THE BIG STAGE OF NY CERTAIN PLAYERS CANNOT HIT IN THE CLUTCH. PITCHERS ALSO HAVE PROBLEM. GIRADI WITH HIS STATISTICS NEEDS TO REALIZE THAT NOT REALIZING THAT CHANGE IS GOOD. WHY NOT PLAY DIFFERENT PLAYERS TO SHAKE UP THE LINE UP. A-ROD IS GOD. YEAR AFTER YEAR WE FANS ENDURE THIS TYPE OF HITTING FROM MANY OF THE POST SEASON MELT DOWNS. NO CHANGES HAPPEN WHY. STATISTICS CAN TELLYOU MAYBE ANDRUW JONES FOR SWISHER AT LEAST ONE GAME. NUNEZ PLAY EACH GAME AT DIFFERENT POSITIONS. BATTING ORDER GARDNER, JETER, GRADENSEN, CANO, TEISCHERA, AA-ROD, JONES, MONTERO,NUNEZ. WHERE IS CRUZ? OR MIX AND MATCH DURING THE GAME AT THE START WHAT EVER. SOME INNOVATION. THE PAST HAD SIMILAR ISSUE. THIS YEAR IS AN EXAMPLE A-ROD NEEDS TO BAT FOURTH ALL THE TIME. DID HE ALWAYS EARN THIS ....NO. WHEN PLAYERS HAVE ISSUES THEY WILL PLAY THROUGH IT. JOE GIRARDI'S FAVORITE LINE. WHAT ABOUT POSADAAND OTHERS? THIS IS NOT TRUE WHEN IT IS EFFECTING THE TEAM. REALIZE THIS HAS REALLY HAPENED SINCE 2003. HOW MANY MORE GAMES CAN BE WON? I HAVE WATCHED THIS LACK OF INNOVATION FROM WINNING GAMES WHEN YOU CAN. IF THERE IS A NEED FOR A REST DO NOT LET IT EFFECT A GAME. A-ROD AND SOME OTHERS ARE LOSERS IN THE POST SEASONS. THIS IS A SHAME TO ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN. JACK I KNOW THAT IT IS VERY DIFFICULT FOR YOU TO CALL IT LIKE IT IS. ON THE RADIO JOHN STERLING IS MORE FORTH RIGHT. LET WE CALL PLAYERS AND MANAGERS OUT . FOR SHAME ON US. HOW MANY WRONG DECISIONS ARE MADE THAT LOSE GAMES FOR THE MOST CONVOLUTED REASON. MY FAVORITE LINE IS THE GUYS ARE WORKING REAL HARD. I BELIEVE IN THEM. IF THIS RHETORIC IS TRUE AND INTELLECT CANNOT UNDERSTAND THAT YOU CAN THINK NOT LIKE A ROBOT. WE ARE FOOLING OURSELVES. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THIS IS BASEBALL THE FAVORITE QUOTE OF JOE GIRARDI. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. MAYBE A FEW CHANGES WILL HAPPEN, THIS TEAM IS OLD. LET THE NEW GUYS PLAY. GET PITCHING....NOT A SURPRISE. AT THE END OF THE YEAR CC FELL APART. AJ PITCHED WELL BUT WHY ACCEPT HIS STARTS FOR THE YEAR. THE BETTER TEAM WINS ALWAYS, IN THIS CASE THE BETTER MANAGER WON. THERE IS SO MUCH TO REALIZE WHEN YOU ARE A YANKEE FAN. THE MANAGER, GM AND ORGANIZATION HAS LOST THE WAY TO WIN WORLD SERIES. SO CLOSE BUT YET SO FAR.....WHY.
