"Click" a ripoff of two movies

Adam Sandler is just too shrewd isn't he: his movie "Click", heralded as a touching message movie sold as comedy, is nothing more than "Ebaneezer Scrooge" and "It's a Wonderful Life" thrown together. I guarantee that' how it was pitched in Hollywood.

Ebaneezer Scrooge?
I think you mean "A Christmas Carol"

And uh.. that's old news. All movies are rip-offs of other movies.
Certain philosophers would argue that there are no new ideas...

Yes, you are right about "Nothing new under the sun",a line I think from the Bible. But there is a fine line between clever and stupid, or rather between 'homage" and "shamelessly derivative". Click is the latter.

while we are on the subject of movies...what did everyone think of Borat?? I have been accused of having no sense of humor because I thought it was juvenile and over-all not very funny.

Well, it's a terrible idea anyways, so I wouldn't get to worked up over it. It's not like he's stealing ideas and making a great movie. He's making garbage.

I haven't seen it but I heard it was basically what your point of view states along with some unnecessary male nudity. And all the bad feedback I heard about it was enought o deter em from going to see it anyway.

I enjoyed Click! I thought it was funny and charming. There is nothing wrong with a more modern updated version of "A wonderful life"

Borat was freaking hilarious. And the controversies make it even funnier. Cohen is one of the funniest people alive.
