I'm a big fan of R&B and Soul music and can listen to it all day long. For those of you who are into R&B, who are some of your favorite artists/groups? There's a lot of great groups and artists to choose from but I wanna know who some of your all time favorites are.

Sorry but the man had a voice and knew how to use it. I actually like his version of "When a Man Loves a Woman" better than Percey Sledge's version. He's got some good songs that I like, the dude had soul.

I've known Michael Boloton...his real name...for years. I am also very good freinds with his musical director. I sang with Joey Melotti at a wedding about 20 years ago...before he started working with Boloton. I did "When A Man Loves A Woman." Joey said that now white man shoould be able to sing that song the way I did. It was my inspiration that was responsible for Boloton singing that song. And yes, I sing it better. I'll resereve comment on Boloton personally. It just wouldnt be right.

As hard as I find that to believe, I believe you cuz I don't have any reason to disbelieve you. I don't know how you sing but if it sounds better than Michael it must be good. I've never heard you sing but I have heard Bolton and I enjoy his voice. You're entitled to your opinion on him as you see it and that's fine, I don't mind. I just said I like his music, that's all.

Heh heh. It's true. I swear it is. Just one of those things. He just rubs me the wrong way. He did some people I know wrong...people who helped him. So that's why I dont like him. And personally, I think his voice is proof you shouldnt eat prunes before you go into a recording studio. certainly, the fact that you like him and I dont is no reflection on either of us personally though. So dont take it that way.

SOUL MUSIC OR R&B DOESN'T COMPARE TO SUBLIME AND BOB MARLEY! THE ONLY THING I LISTEN TO EVERYDAY!
