It's true, the Nets are 1 bigman away from being title contenders..Notice how since they lost Kenyon, Mutombo they haven't been too near to the Finals?? They lack that down low presence, nobody's scared to drive the lane vs Krstic or Collins. Boone can develop into a solid shot blocker, but right now his size and talent isn't where it needs to be.

I also found it interesting in that Phoenix game, the Nets were down big, then in the 4th quarter the rookies/bench players were able to assemble quite a comeback, to the point they put Vince back in with 30 seconds to go..whats this say? It says the younger players are hungrier and the vets seem to be lacking that fire..

No knock on Jason Collins, I think if Nenad Krstic can continue improving he might be "The One"..

they need a center that can compete with the other team's big man. Krstic is a PF not a center. It would be nice if they can get dalembert.

He is the only playes that the nets can get without giving much. He is better than collins or even moore. He is a complimentary big man than can help the nets where they needs the most in the middle. He together with krstic, kid, jefferson and carter will be formidable.
