Giants still have a shot!

The Giants are 7-6, tied with the Eagles for 2nd place, and 1 game behind the 8-5 Cowboys. Next week will determine whether it will be between the Giants and Cowboys or the Eagles and Cowboys. This game is huge, and will either be or break the season.

"They still have a shot!" you say, even though every week on the field is an insult to the game of football. Soon it will be "But they're not mathematically eliminated yet!!", another line of programming you have swallowed whole, ready and willing to spit it out at the right moment each season, when your team of amateur players (but professional clowns) hobbles towards another mediocre record.

The NFL executives are Dr. Frankestein, and fans like you are their little monsters, perfectly programmed to root for god-awful teams long into each season, longer than such UNprofessional garbage coaches and players deserve. For how many years will you play this role and make these men even richer?

Record number of teams that are 6-8 thru 8-6. One of the worst years ever. Giants have a shot - I'd rather they be put out of their misery.

Does any NFL team "beat" another team? Or is it really a game of who is the least-worst? It is a fake competition, a show for the gamblers and fantasy league players. As a sport, the NFL is dead. Time for people to see it for what it is, and what it isn't.

I guess this is the ulimate extension of parity..except maybe some season when every team is 8-8.

I'd love to see the Giants in post-season play...but only if they were
playing good enough to give the fans some hope of winning. Maybe
if they win the next two in blow-outs it would be a sign of hope!

If you actually cared about quality football you would have abandoned the Giants several games ago.

Well I actually did but I didn't want people to think I was a troll or something.

I lost all hope after the Titans game.

No, no!!

Even at 7-8, the Giants still have a shot left!!!

And I only hope someone takes it and puts them out of our misery.
