well if you dont want that to happen to your knees then get them checked out before the pain gets too severe and if you need to get surgery do it asap because the longer you wait the worse you knees get

I haven't had any serious pain yet. There was a little problem a week ago or so but it's stopped hurting since then. It's always the left knee in my family and that's the one that was hurting a while ago so I'm gonna be careful on it until the pain is completely gone.

hate to break it to you but the pain will never completely go away , since the genitical condition most likely involves the cartilidge slowy being worn away or torn . trust me i went through that pain in my left knee alll my life until i had arthoscopic surgery about 3 years ago and now it feels the best that it has in my whole life.
