When you have kids there is always the unexpected. I just got a phone call from my 20 year old and he told me about how he hasn't paid his electric bill in 3 months and he spent all the money that his roommates gave him towards it and now he has to pay $600 by tomorrow and he only has $40 in his checking account and "Mom, could you float me a loan?" If it wasn't winter I'd let him sit in the dark. No, I wouldn't, but it is nice to dream...

Ah, just wait, the best is yet to come. You think their cute little pranks are the worst of it. Then they start to drive and 7 accidents and 2 totaled cars later you can confiscate their drivers license and start to grow the hair back on your head.
