I thought Hughes actually pitched better tonight than his 1st start, until the 6th inning. He showed a lot of cool inducing 2 double plays. His fastball was between 92--94. His curve is very good. I only counted about 4 changeups, but I could easily be wrong on that.

ugh...dumb to take henn out of the long man spot in which he has succeeded in so far this season. don't fix something that ain't broke.

Because he's already up here and has experience. None of the starters at AAA have any ML experience. Sanchez is still on the DL. It should only be 1 start anyway. The date I read for the next 5th starter start is the 21st. Wang should be back a few days after that.

It should only be 1 start. With the day off today, and 1 next Thursday I believe. The 5th starter isn't due to pitch until the 21st.

Okay. But I don't like the fact that we lose him in the bullpen the days before the start and the days after. I don't like the idea. (Not like I have much say in the matter though! lol)

still think its not a good idea. could rocked in that start, mess him up and eventually lose a valuable asset in that pen.
