I like the bullpen a lot as well. I don't like that Albaladejo made the team over Patterson at all, even though he'll be the one cut once Pettite comes back on Saturday. I'm fine with them not going with a long reliever to start the season, but I thought that one might be needed to eat innings. I guess that Rasner will be called up once the bullpen arms start to tire. By the time Pettitte returns, the bullpen should consist of Rivera, Chamberlain, Hawkins, Farnsworth, Bruney, Traber, and Ohlendorf. The bullpen looks like it may be a strength for the Yankees this year, I'm liking it! smile

I agree. I think the pen is going to be a real strength this year A month ago we were in a panic before they moved Joba there. I like the other arms and I think Bruney and Farnsworth will have pretty good years. There's a lot more depth and talent down at SWB this year too. Some of those guys just need a couple months work to be better. The pen and of course the offense are big. The rotation is a question mark. I have a lot of doubts about Mussina. I think the kids will do pretty well. They'll hit some rough spots but everybody does. I'm more worried about Pettitte's health and Moose than anything else. Catch you tomorrow. smile

BG, do you know what numbers players will be wearing at SWB? Could I get this from their website in a few days when everything is settled? Thanks.

I doubt they have any idea yet which numbers they'll be wearing. Probably on Thursday if you look on swbyankees.com under roster, they should have that listed. I've never really been one to pay attention to players numbers for some reason, even at the ML level. I'm pretty sure the numbers will be listed on the roster section next to their names. Have a good one. smile

I'm sure they'll be listed. If they aren't they may be in the local paper down here and I'll let you know what they are.

Hey Biggie......Just wanted to tell you that watching Traber pitch has got to make the hitter real uncomfortable ...lots of moving parts and you really dont know where the ball is going.....I like it, I like it alot.....No way you an be comfortable in the box with him on the mound....

I agree. He's got a funky delivery and a knack of hitting that outside corner against lefties. I like that a lot. Nobody knows him either. That should help the first time around the league at least.
