No matter what the loony left or scientists say; evolution doesn't exist.

´ ´I just came back from Europe where I tried to explain to them
that in the United States.... there ´s this big debate going on about who
came first, the Man or the monkey....now, over there they ´re pretty sure
the monkey came first....and I also have a feeling that they know just where
he is but, uh (cheers) I tried to explain to them that the problem over here
is that the monkey has no vote....and uh, he has no lobbyists or....and I ´ve
been giving this rap along the course of the tour, standing up here kind of
feeling smugly superior to my evangelical brothers and sisters....but, but then
the Catholics threw their hat in a couple of weeks ago.... so now I ´m
in the sh it with everybody else....I tried to explain to them over in Europe
that.... conditions as they are in the States, some of their favorite imports
would never make it over there now, something like, say, the Flintstones....that ´s
on every channel across the continent and I had to explain to them that due
to the ambiguous relationship between Fred and Barney ....that that couldn ´t
get made today....not to mention I don ´t even throw Dino in there....so....
it ´s great to be back home (chuckles)...."

You are abusing this system by creating propaganda in each thread after thread, day after day. It is polluting the environment!!

well when you have people on the right who want to push intelligent design into the SCIENCE education despite the fact that it's not science in every sense of the imagination, you know testable experiments; confirming hypothesis; withstanding the scrutiny of science, you know those sort of things, i find it necessary to promote evolution every way that i can and show how foolish their argument is. That is despite the fact that their is no evidence to suggest what they want to teach.

I went to a catholic school taught by nuns, i went to a jesuit high school taught be priests and not once at those two levels of my education did they even try to teach anything but evolution. Now maybe personally they do believe in Intelligent Design simply because they are men of women of faith, but I respect the fact that they didn't try to undermine one of the greatest minds in Science ever in Charles Darwin, like the right is trying to do by promoting Intelligent Design.

All scientists will tell you that Evolution can't explain how life started, which means God isn't left out, but for people on the Right to make unfounded claims to contradict what evolution says shows how desperate the right is to stop liberalism. I'm a practicing catholic so it's not even a problem of having God in the public schools, it's a matter of it not being science. So if you're fine with the government ignoring the principle that church and state are supposed to be separate, then so be it. To me it's an insult to everyone's intelligence for allowing a theory that has withstood years of scrutiny to be written Evolution?, when it's not a question anymore but scientific fact.

The evolution "debate" is simply the right trying to paint itself as the underdog, repressed by the closed-minded liberals who follow facts and logic. They know it's an argument they can never triumph in (same as social issues like ga.y marriage or the "moral decay" of America), so it always gives them a soapbox to stand on and preach to the gullible.
