I notice, though, that you didn't have the stones to address my original point, which had nothing to do with the Iraq war, but had to do with Goldman's sanctimoniousness and hypocirsy, which you've displayed to great effect, as well. My suggestion is that if you find a comment too long and detailed to comprehend, you refrain from posting. You're displaying an unusually high degree of insipidity, even for a lefty.

Your original point is little more than a dumb game of gotcha. It's become a Republican trademark lately. Fail on the issues, so invent double-talk for your opponent.

"Once again Melkmancometh is just flat out wrong. Midterm elections are usually a referendum on a national issue."

Fascinatingly wrong and off the mark. Common sense dicatates you're wrong, along with the scholarly work of many different political analysts. National issues always come into play, but are one of many issues that affect midterm elections, because people are concerned with WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THEIR BACKYARD! Thanks for responding to my examples proving your point faulty. Did you even know those states existed? And your obvious ignorance in relation to the Lieberman campaign doesn't even warrant a response. Maybe if you had actually followed some of the campaign rather than just reading lefty blogs, you would know what you're talking about. If I were you, I would listen to Chicago. If you have something interesting to say, by all means post it. If you are just following the company line and offering nothing more than "Keith Olderman said" quotes, don't waste your time, or just post stupid "you guys su.ck and lie all the time" posts like JCnNJ. And you never did respond to Chicago's original post.
