Brady Quinn, probably the best and most well polished QB in the 2007 draft, fell into their lap at the #9 pick. Detroit passed up on him at 2, Cleveland passed up on him at 3, Washington and Minnesota passed up at 6 and 7. The Dolphins had the best opportunity to get the only impact QB to play there since Marino and who do they draft? TED GINN JR!!!!!!!!! What the fu'ck were they thinking?! Why draft a receiver when you have Chris Chambers, Marty Booker, and Derek Hagan who you can get the ball to?!?! The best this kid will do is play special teams and be a 4th receiver on the Phins cuz he doesn't have near as good hands as any of our receivers right now. And now, every single person on ESPN right now is killing the Phins for being this stupid and taking a wide receiver. YOU CAN'T DRAFT A RECEIVER WHEN YOU HAVE NOBODY TO THROW TO THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Culpepper is getting traded and Trent Green is not the answer. He's old, injury prone, and won't carry this team to the playoffs. Just like when the Bills passed up on Matt Leinart last year, the Dolphins made the biggest mistake in the entire draft by not picking Quinn. The Bills are a completely different team and probably a playoff team with Leinart but instead, they bought themselves a 7-9 season. The Dolphins just went from being a 6-10 garbage team with no QB to a 6-10 garbage team with a kick returner and still, no QB. I've been a Dolphins fan all my life and haven't had any reason to question their decisions but this is the most ridiculous decision ever. I cheered as loud as I have the past 5 years for them after the Vikings took Peterson but they just made the worst mistake possible right now. This is just fu'cking amazing.

What were the dolphins thinking? Quinn was just waiting there for us at #9 and we pass him up.

Our QB situation is bad right now, we need a QB for the future.

the draft was good

i think quinn is vastly overrated, if he was so great why did 21 teams pass on him? especially cleveland who took joe thomas when they knew the dolphins might take him

last year we had no one who could go deep, that was one of our problems we had no deep threat chamber/booker/hagan are not burners they are posession recievers

ginn is a playmaker he makes things happen and also adds versatility in that he can play CB

beck is as good or better than quinn

this was a good draft

You are correct. I live in Fl now but am still a NYG fan but held Dolpnin season tickets. I sat there and couldn't believe they passed, and who is culpepper going to be traded to? Who wants him, he is a big liablity and when they got him you would think he was Marino. Plus the fact the defense is getting older and I called it when Saban was here that he was a dud and egotostic. There division is getting better and the fins are getting worse. Heizinga better get someone to run his organization because he let's everybody due what they want. Shula was a advisor and got so disgusted he doesn't get involved anymore. I gave my seats up last year, best thing I ever did.
