Well thats great....society needs more people like you. I am betting you had great parents that taught you right from wrong since you were a very little person. Too many parents today give up on their kids early on. Cant cope. They give them away, in a sense, to the baser environments in life.

well yes, you are probably right about that. I see it in the teaching field, parents don't show up for conferences and seem to have no idea what their kids are up to. Then is another group of parents who defend their kids no matter what and blame the schools, teachers or peer pressure for the problem. The problem too is that it is a never ending cycle...people learn how to parent by example, so the cycle never ends in some cases.

Yeah, good observations. Parenting is like a lot of skills learned in life, passed down from one generation to next. Its a shame, some of these kids that commit these crimes are victims too. They never had a chance. Between the home life or lack thereof and the outside pressures of their immediate environments, they get all the wrong life lessons. Its one of the reasons I dont watch ESPN. They glorify, the smack down, the trash talk, the violent side of sports. They sell the sneakers that the young people just HAVE to HAVE. Hey, their 175.00 a pair but wht the hel, if you cant buy them, steal them. Cuz you arent nuthin without them. Like I said, they never had a chance. Hillary said, it takes a village to raise a child, well in the case of some of these kids no one is raising them.
