i dunno how old you are, but when i was growing we respected/feared the police.

Back a month ago in the Philly area, an 8 year old and a 5 year old used a credit card to get into a locked door of a neighbor's house and stole their Christmas presents. They were brothers. What is a kid learning that makes him think this is something that is OK to do?

yeah, i'm 43 and they wouldnt think twice to slap ya or hit ya with their baton... yeah the kids know that today if the cop does something back, there will be some troublemaker with a camera, just like they dont show teachers respect

Last week in Philly, a 14 year old girl got into an argument with another girl at school. The one girl went home and told her mother, her mother drove her and her friends to a neighborhood hang out to find the girl and settle the score. The victim received one hundred and four stitches in her head and face from razor slashes. This is some world we live in now.

I don't know but somewhere along the line, the individual has put himself above everything else. Its a cliche, but there is no respect for authority.

ahhh well, I guess you would definetely know better than I do. I can say though, I have never been arrested, never beaten anyone up (male or female) or even been questioned by the police ....with the exception of " You don't have a hands free device Miss?"....nor have any of the women I know. I guess I run with a decent crowd. It is too bad if that is the case...the world was dangerous enough before I knew that!
