I was watching it on ESPN news, the judge at one point wondered if OJ was arrogant or ignorant. She said both. It all finally caught up to him

He can come up for parole after 6 years but the analysts figure he'll serve close to 8 or 9 years of the the 18 year sentence.

exactly, it's nice to universal law in action. Finally the piece of garbage pays the price, this is most likely a life sentence for him.

What a truly wasted life! He had it all and lost it. The 2nd best RB of all time imo behind Jim Brown. His arrogance did him in. Good riddance OJ, some justice is served finally. And now I hope his name is removed from the Bills Wall of Fame at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Being a Giants fan, I got into football about 5 years ago so I'm not too familiar with OJ's football prowsess. Till this day my brother talked of OJ being one of the best RB. It was OJ that made him a fan in those days. Although he's a Jets fan, he still root for the Bills to do well...but not better than his Jetsshocked devilish. As you say, what a waste of a man as he had it all.

Oh he was truly a great running back. Being a Bills fan since 1965 I saw almost all of OJ's games here. His speed and agility was breathtaking sometimes, any time he got the ball he was a threat to go all the way. I met him once as a kid, he was guest of honor at a fathers and sons banquet. Needless to say it was a thrill to meet him, he was the talk of the nation just coming out of USC. But I guess riches and fame could not cure his massive ego or temper. Sad. But sadder still is Ron and Nicole and that justice never was served for them. I guess this is better than nothing. No more golf tournaments OJ.
