Eli had a turnover, and it cost the team 3 points, the margin of defeat, as it turned out.

And is he responsible for the fact the Giants gave up a 49 yd TD?

Did Tiki run for a TD?

No, he's not. He's responsible for a bad INT that set the Eagles up for an easy FG that made it 10-7.

It just happens, after many plays and more scores, to be the winning margin.

As I said, he's not to blame, he didn't play great, he played OK.

Did Tiki run for a TD? No, he didn't.

Did Eli throw 3 TD's instead of 2?

Why didn't throw 3 TD's? Then the Giants might've won. Just as relevant as Tiki not running for a TD.

Well with Eli at the helm prepare for
another disappointing season. He is not a good QB like his
brother is. He cant function under pressure. Giants need a
leader who can function under pressure and eli isnt that person.

We'll know next year with a new coach, and a new scheme. An intact offensive line wouldn't hurt, either.

The whole season turned out to be a miserable failure. The coaching staff should be gutted like a trophy buck, starting tomorrow.

Eh, I'm probably not going to watch the rest of the playoffs. As long as Philly doesn't win it all, I'm good.

Hind sight is 20/20 but I told you so ! The defense never even got a turnover. And when we needed them to make a stop on the final stand to give us a chance to win. They had nothing. As far as Eli, he was outa his league. I never booed Phil sims because I knew he had no one to play with on offense. Not like your boy, Eli who had Tiki ,Shockey & Burress. Eli proved once again that he is too slow, to inaccurate and should be considered the big bust that he is!

Yeah, you sure told us.

Yeah, Eli was too slow, too inaccurate, and so far outa his league, he couldn't even rally the Giants from a 10-point deficit in the 4th quarter to tie the game with 5 minutes left.

Oh, wait; he did exactly that. Without even getting any cheap points off turnovers.

Yeah, you told us.

The jury is still out on Eli. Let's see what he can do with better coaching, and maybe a better line, or at least a healthier one.

Yeah, here we go . Blame the coaching. Blame the line . So next year when were sitting here at the end of another Eli experiment. We blame well, No Tiki. So what do you expect. Will coaching help Eli be more accurate ? Before we say he led them back lets recap the 2 drives that tied the game. The one that lead to the field goal; they were in the red zone and on 3rd down after eli got flushed out of the pocket he missed Moss in the front corner of the end zone he threw the ball to the wrong side. If , he had thrown the ball accurately the Giants would have trailed 20 to 17. Then, the last drive which ended with three great plays by Burress. Would have given the Giants a 24-20 lead and the Eagles would have had to score a game winning TD.(Which they probably would have) The question I have on Eli is how much more time do we need to waste. He just led us to a 2-7 record on a team that started 6-2. He has very little mobility, an inaccurate throwing arm and if the Giants had any of these back up QBs available he shoulda have been benched. Here is a list of backup Qbs in the league at the end of the year. Dallas - Bledsoe, Phil - Feeley, Wash- Brunnell,Chi- Griese, Minn- Johnson, Det-McCown, GB-Bouman. Atl- Schwab,NO-Martin ,TB-Rattay, Car- Weinke, SF-Dilfer,STL-Frerotte, Sea-Wallace, Arizona- Warner, Jets-Ramsey,Bills-Holcomb , Dolphins - Lemon, Pats-Testaverde,Ravens- Boller, Cin- Wright, Pitts- Batch, Browns- Dorsey,Indy-Sorgi, Jax-Gray, Texans-Van Pelt,Titans-Collins,Denver- Plummer,San Diego-Volek,Cheifs-Huard,Raiders-Walter. In my opinion, Eli will not make it as a championship QB for the Giants period end of sentence.
