On Mike and the Mad Dog Paul Schwarz said he wouldn't be surprised if Strahan has played his last game as a Giant. He believes Strahan is seriously thinking retirement and believes he will do it. If he does how does this impact the defense and will they move Kiwanuka back to DE or will Tuck start? Maybe they'll pick someone up, who knows. He isn't getting any younger and his ego is a bad influence on Osi, his best friend and a another top of the line DE. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise
I think Jacobs will have a Pro Bowl season this year, sure Tiki will be missed, but with Jacobs waiting in the wings, it's not as much of a reason to panic. Also, Ruben Droughns can be a serviceable backup and Ahmad Bradshaw has great upside, although I see him more as a game changing kick returner. The defense should be fine, I wouldn't have expected much from Strahan this year anyway because of his injury last season.
Pure greed on Strahan's part,if this is a ploy to milk more cash from the Giants. He was paid 38 mil of a front loaded 46 mil contract ,he's broken down 2 of the last 3 years and is jealous of the Freeney contract.
