Manning out for a month

"During the fourth quarter, Eli Manning was removed from the game in favor of backup Jared Lorenzen after suffering an apparent shoulder injury. On September 10, it was revealed that Manning had suffered a slight shoulder separation and may miss up to a month's time."

And that should effectively end the season for the Giants. That is, the season was already over with the so-called defense.

*sigh* it's bad enough the "defense" stinks but now after seeing Manning do his thing last night this one hurts badly!

Maybe this Lorenzen kid will be so good, like Tony Romo was when he replaced Bledsoe. Anyway, maybe he will replace Manning, I am a Steelers fan, and I don't even like Manning. I do not think he is that great of a player, or a leader, and after he gets over this injury, who knows, he could be better, he could get worse.

If Eli does miss some time even the Eli-bashers will be welcoming him back, after watching our 280 lb QB who won't try to run over a D-back on 4th down with the game on the line.
