Eli Manning: 7/15, 114 yds, 0 TDs, 2 INT, 3 fumbles, 2 fumbles lost.

He had some more drops, but still, that's not...good...very.

imagine if this team actually had a consistent good quarterback

they can beat tampa bay on the road, but after that no chance

Well, what the heck, whatever happens, they did win 10 games, they did make the playoffs, the defense proved it could close out some tight games.

If it's another 1st round knockout, they got further than I thought they would at the start of the year...I said back then: "this is a 6-10 team, maybe 4-12 with bad breaks. Unless Spagnolo really is a miracle worker."

Well, he isn't a miracle worker, but he did a fine job. Recovering from the Bills overpowering emotional start to basically shut them down, except for the short TD Eli's 1st INT set up on the 1st play in the 2nd half...well, that's a fine job under severe pressure, even though the Bills are hardly an offensive juggernaut.

A good job by the backs, the line, except for the usual brutal short yardage play, and for the defense overall, especially after the Bills first two drives, and Feagles. Spagnolo, especially, deserves credit for sticking with it, and even moreso, holding the defense together after the 14-0, Eli's usual mishaps, and the offense's short yardage failures.

A weaker team could've folded this game at about a half-dozen screwup points. A stronger one would never have been in this position. Giants are what they are. I'm hoping they can win a playoff game this time. But I sure ain't counting on it.
