That he WILL pitch next year, but now just has to decide where....I'd like to see him back in NY, but let's remember fans, he felt spurned by the Yanks when he left...He could pull a Greg Maddux and use the Yanks for a better deal from Houston.....

well this will prove weither or not he really wanted to stay with the yanks 3 years ago.


if he doesnt come back , then it shows he never really wanted to come back 3 years ago imo

Not necessarily...What it could show is that the Yanks had their chance to keep him and blew it so why should he go back now if he could get the same money at home.

i dont think so , i still do not think he ever really wanted to stay three years ago.


i hope he comes back here but if he doesnt , oh well

As long as the Yankees still sign Kei Igawa then I am indifferent to signing Pettite.

Andy is the right man for new york as we all know. Pavano and Randy are "ifs". This move will give the yankees more flexblity on how they would like to handle the young hughes. They could bring down his workload by calling him up late. Mussina and Wang will be your 2 and 3 starters. So will have three solid starters coming into spring training.

At 34? Wow... then we shouldn't have any faith in Moose or
Johnson at ALL, and we should be looking to put Igawa on crutches in
the next few years.
