I like this guy I think he'll be good for us. How are we doing on Negotiations. Also did anybody read about the Sexson thing? Does anybody really want him? How is he as a fielder?

I think that if the Yankees get Pettitte, they may just fall asleep on Igawa and, albeit rude, let him go back to Japan or let Bud Selig let another team negotiate with him. But again just a possibility, IF Andy is back.


Also Sexson appears to just be a rumor, he has a hefty contract, and would still cost a pretty big prospect such as Melky or Humberto or Clippard. I don't think Sexson is a good fit for the Yanks, yes they need a 1b, and a righty bat, but where is there room for him in the lineup, and besides he strikes out a ton. They are much better off with a cheaper, younger 1b batting lower in the order. Sexson's glove is about average, being 6 foot 8 makes him a very good receiver at 1b. But still not the right fit.
