and the yankees have still done nothing.

37 Mariano Rivera and the other veteren Yankees must be very angry at the Yankees owner for not doing everything it takes to win.

Here we are on December 7th, and we have the exact same team as last year.

They don't have much holes to cover. They only need an extra pitcher and the offseason isn't over just yet. What do you want the yankees to do ? Let's sign zito 100 million dollars for 6 years. Let's sign lilly 40 million for 4 years. Let's sign weaver !!!! Geeezzzzzzz stop already

You are right the Yankees have done nothing. I'm sorry that the Yankees need spend 270 million dollars in contract like the Cubs, or 100 mil for Matsuzaka, 40 for Lilly, 40 for Meche, and all the bad contracts that are being made. Just because the Yankees haven't got a "superstar" yet is because they really are not that good or too expensive.

Yeah let's sign nobody so they can be knocked out of the playoffs in the 1st round again. Let's rely on 43 year old RJ and Pavano who has not pitched in a year. angry

You must be one of those fans that demand a superstar to be signed from 2000 and beyond and rejoice just to see the Yankees signing a premium FA to a lucrative contract.

THEN you probably turn around and start booing the stuffings out of...

1) The FA
2) The FO
3) The GM

Then blame whoever for signing that person, and Arod, for not winning the WS and then going back to whining about how we should reduce payroll and blah blah blah.

Only to have some other team start signing big names and then do the vicious cycle of what I would like to call...

"The bandwagon fan."
