This show is USELESS. Not only is it the typical Yanks won't get anyone, Josh Phelps will compete with Andy Phillips for 1st base show. NOW it is a Red Sox lovefest. And to top it all off, every video they show of players involves that particular player beating the Yankees (Burgos, Schmidt, Gagne, Drew). I can't believe Steinbrenner lets this garbage air.

maybe its a red sox love fest because they are the only teams making moves..

maybe if cashman got off his rearend instead of having dinner with arod to tell him he loves him, we could actually make some moves and have an entertaining hot stove show.

em k?

Amen brother....

If I had my way, Matsuzaka, Zaun, Pettitte, Mike Gonzalez and Rich Aurilia would all be in pinstripes by now.

you people are clueless...Cashman has done much by making the team younger and making the future even better. 2 years ago our minors were the laughing stock of mlb and now we're stacked with talent at the lower levels and have some pretty impressive arms in the uppers waiting to get a shot. Re-examine your opinions because there's more where this came from. The idea that you want the Yankees to make noise in the trade front just because the hot stove has bored you is ridiculous...

exactly.. what do people expect cashman to do?

sign bonds?
pay 12 mil a year for mediocore pitching?
pay 100 mil for a #2 starter?

there are no real big moves out there that make any sense for the yankees. nor do they need to make any.. the team is pretty solid. we need another starter, and we're working on andy. as for 1B, right now it looks like a competition b/w phillips and phelps, and i'm ok with that. as for a backup catcher.. we could use some help there, but you can pick one up pretty easily at any time.

cash hasn't made any big splashes because he doesn't need to with this team (unless he trades a-rodwink). he's not gonna go throw a ton of money around just to make the hot stove show more interesting.

i'm quite happy with the job he's done this offseason so far, and remember, it's only dec. 8th..
