It is suprising but not suprising. If the Devs win it all (not happening) then Lamariello gets the fame. It is not like this is the first time he has done this sort of thing.

Lou brings accountability to the bench.The team was as flat as can be vs. Philly and Boston this weekend and saved by Brodeur big time.Juilen has disagreements with Brodeur(playing time) and Lou (the Matvichuk situation) that could be it too.

It just seems weird that the Devils are pulling this trick again. Wasn't it a few years back they fired the coach and brought in Robinson. I think they won the cup but this year they are 2nd in the conference with Brodeur going to be a close 2nd for the Hart Trophy. But winning 3 cups in the last 12 years, I guess Lou knows what he is doing.

devils fan here. i always have faith in lou. i was suprised to see this happen, but then again, not that suprised. lou wants to win, and if it means shaking things up... again... go for it!
