The Rangers manhandled the Devils tonight but Brodeur kept the dastardly Devils in the game. Funny game hockey is, sometimes the goaltender can mean just as much as a starting pitcher.

The offense will come around, how could it not? (I seem to remember saying this about the Yankees in May.)

absolutley r.m. , take away lundquist and this team would be winless. they are very boring, a jersey vs ranger game and the building was like a church, no hits { 1 fight} i looked forward to this big time and even if they won 3 in a row they are boring

The offense will get going eventually. There's too much talent for it not to. Eventually they'll fit the pieces together, i.e., line combinations, players getting to know each other, etc.

A nice 2-0 win over the Flyers, great defense again, I'd take 1-0 Yankee wins over 16-9 homerun contests.

nice 2 fights but the ranger score about as often as jim mcgreevy, but are playing great defense. while lundquist is great, he doesn't have to face many high quality shots for the rangers are pl;aying great defense
