Some action starting to happen now. Brian Campbell is going to San Jose for Steve Bernier and a 1st RD pick, Brad Richards is going to Dallas, Belak is going From the Leafs to Florida.

does mccabe have years left on that conract ?? giving up montoya , a very dissapointing prucha and dawes isnt much for a guy who has accomplished what mccabe has done, but when i watch toronto , he looks like the kind of guy like a bill guerin who will get a goal and an assist and be even in the plus minus ... hery dinsy, how has he been playing ??

you're right, rangers will be taking a big salary. he has 3 years left on his contract


but the good thing is he will be the guy who will be the stopgap until bobby sanguinetti is ready. it would also let the rangers have rozsival walk after the season plus not having to sign another d-man to a much longer term deal that will block sanguinetti from having a spot on the roster in a few years.

McCabe looks good on the power play but that is it, you might as well put the jersey over a pilon, we got rid of one pilon today in Hal Gill who went to the Penguins. Gretzky made a great move in getting Montoya, he's ready for the bigs and he feels there is the cornerstone for the future. The Pens made a big move but now the thing is to sign Hossa to a contract, imagine Crosbyy, Malkin and Hossa on a PP line, wash. did alright getting Fedorov to play center and a good goalie in Huet for security.
