Cannedmonkeymeat Posts: 0	After noticing that chicken wings had no place in the pizza thread and the other "wing" thread became a train wreck, I decided it best to just give wings their own thread. I want to introduce Quaker Steak and Lube in Sharon, PA to those of you who haven't had the pleasure. These are the best wings in the world! Here's their web site (Be sure to check out the awards!): http://www.quakersteakandlube.com/ There are 16 sauces to chose from, and they are ranked in Scoville units. The hottest, "Atomic" is 150,000 units and requires the signing of a release form (It's the one in the pill bottle)! You can buy them online. Trust me, they are ALL spectacular! For those who can't take the heat, I suggest the Louisiana Lickers: There are over 30 locations nationwide, but I suggest trying to make the pilgrimage to the original in Sharon. Once an old gas station, it is now a pretty sweet place to hang out. Muscles cars and motorcycles hang from the ceilings and walls. It is just nuts! The picture below is but one room in the joint. There are five rooms indoor and an outside patio. Personally, I like the Suicide wings combined with a nice Long Island Ice Tea!

Cannedmonkeymeat Posts: 0	Yeah, it's so funny that you mentioned that show. My son actually wrote to Guy Fieri, the host of that show. We watch it all the time. He is a bit bummed because he hasn't gotten a response in over a month. I would have to agree, though, it is DEFINITELY a place that they should do a bit on! They, also have onion rings that come stacked on an "On-tenna" that are amazing.

MyYESNetwork Posts: 0	When I lived in Milford MA, there was a place that sold Hari Kiri (Kari) wings, they made people sign a dislaimer. The sauce was basically a pure habernero pepper base, and they cooked the wings with whole haberneros, once in a while you had a pepper not a wing. Since I am no longer in my 20's, I no longer try to eat the hottest thing I can find, just because what goes in MUST COME OUT. Now everyone that has eaten a habernero or a Scotch Bonnet knows what I mean by this. You can look like a tough guy all night, the next morning you will be crying like a little girl. I don't value a wing by how hot it is, I want flavor, i want my taste buds to remain intact... To all of you...You should glorify yourselves with trying to put me down about the chicken wing thread, I think it is great (especially the edit by heatmiser saying I can understand why you thought I was mocking you)....Seems he forgot about the edit...When you have to dig into the food forum to attack me, it shows me I am doing something right. When I get ridiculed about an obscure quote from a book that sold Millions of copies and was the foundation for 2 movies, i guess I have done something right. I approach everything I do the same way. Insult away, (Yeah yeah yeah, let it go Demon, umm but what people keep bringing this stuff up?) And, I will leave the AND as it is, because i can get just as petty guys Play Nice, or do not Play at all.....

Cannedmonkeymeat Posts: 0	I know what you mean about the hot stuff, demon! Actually, I opt for lesser Scovilles these days. Suicide is hot enough for me, but "hot" is usually just about right. If I'm ever in Milford, I'll be sure to try those Hari Karis! Thanks for the info! Oh, and BTW, let's just let it go, buddy. I just want to talk wings!
