He isn't as good as people say he is. Put Kidd on that team and put Nash on the Nets right now and it wouldn't be close. Kidd is putting up 9 assists a game with a totally garbage team. If he were on the Suns, he'd have 15 APG. Take Nash off that team and put him on the garbage Nets, he'll be averaging 8 APG and not considered for the MVP. It's a matter of the players around you that make you look better. Hard to look good when Carter throws up the rock every time he touches it.

yeah but steve nash doesn't play as much as kidd. Nash basically plays 1st and 3rd quarters and the last 8 minutes of the 4th quarter just because Barbosa is backing him up and they have so many superstars. if nash played as much as kidd he would average 20 APG.

Unlike baseball, I never hanged on to one team. I know throw your darts, sorry.

But I used to like and watch the Nets all the time way back when......in the ABA when they had Dr. J, Billy Paultz, Skinner, Dr. K (Larry Kenon), Taylor, Nater, Williamson, to name a few. I loved the Red, White and Blue spinning in the air.

I also liked the Knicks when they had Clyde, The Pearl, Bradley, Lucas, Reed, and Phil Jackson (horrible player).

Then when I moved to Cali I got hooked on the Lakers. Even before Magic, Scott, Worthy, Cooper, Silk, Kareem, Rambis and others came on to the scene.

So as of right now I am a Lakers fan. I have followed basketball ever since I can remember. The first game I saw was on T.V. between the Chicago Bulls vs the Kansas City Kings. I know I'm telling my age now!

Anyway the Bulls had Bob Love, Chet Walker, Jerry Sloan (Utahs coach) Norm Van Lier, Clifford Ray, Tom Boerwinkle and the Kings back then had Sam Lacey, Tiny Archibald, Walker, Scott Wedman and I can't remember who else.

Pretty good for just off the top of my head, anyway there you go. cool
