That's because Garnett has to do that with the team he was playing for before and now as well. I love Garnett but Duncan has the slight edge.


Duncan does what is needed to be a winner, and can produce at will. cool

You got some of the positions wrong my jimmie boy. Shawn marion may play the PF but the SF is his natural posution. T-mac is a SG not a SF. How can u put arenas over paul or williams or baron davis?

How can u say KG is FAR better than Duncan? I understand if u say better but FAR better. Compare the rings of TD and KG 4:0. I like KG and I think hes more talented but until he gets atleast one ring hes not better than the big fundamental.

I put arenas over them, because if you noticed, you bumped a thread from november 11th. Paul was not quite established as such an amazing pg at that time. I would put him up now.

I find duncan boring as mike said, and i believe KG brings great energy, and makes shots that no one else in the league could make. KG is the best PF in the nba, and i think dirk is better than duncan as well. This season Boozer is too. JMO.

Yea you're right he is boring and so were a lot of other hall of famers but EXACTLY what does BORING have to do with being a great player. His #s show it and he got 4 rings and 3 finals and 2 season mvps to show for it compared to KGs no rings and 1 season mvp. Dont get me wrong KG is very good and exciting but not better until he proves he can get a ring. And like charles barkley said, "people who think spurs are boring dont know what real basketball is".

Well i wouldn't always base a players skills on their rings. Would you consider Jason Williams who won a title with miami a couple years back, a better point guard than Jason Kidd, or Steve Nash who haven't won any finals championships? This is just my opinion, and i never said the spurs weren't a good team, i just said they were boring. By the way, KG hasn't won a ring because he has played mostly on very bad minnesota teams. This year or next year, he has a very good chance of getting a ring. A better chance than Duncan. Im going on the present, not the past.
