Can anyone explain the Jena 6 thing?

You never saw any comment in this story that alleged the kid was knocked unconcious, until you saw he was, and you changed your post.

I made a correction after realizing I had posted something that was incorrect. I said, in all sincerity, that I had not seen a post about the kid being knocked unconscious. After finding one, I corrected myself. Why is this a problem?

The garbage facts you have alleged are, it was just a school yard fight, that the 6 kids never intended to hurt the white kid (remember how you replied the white kid was never unconcious...you can edit your posts, doesn't change what you said), who goes to jail for 20 years over a black eye?

You are now making up arguments. I at no time said the kids never intended to hurt the kid. I at no time said the kid was never unconscious. I at no time said the six kids were innocent; they clearly committed a crime, and deserve to be punished.

How many times does this need to be said before you'll let that sink in?

Yeah Bro, what are your thoughts on the Duke Lacrosse team? Yeah, you won't even respond, your buddies Sharpton and Jackson had something to say about that, but, you know what even though that story was a lie, it is okay. Where is your tirade for the Duke students? Where is the rally for Civil rights? Maybe those Lacrose kids were the wrong color?

I thought the Duke lacrosse matter was a disgrace. Sharpton and Jackson made fools of themselves as they usually do. The D.A. got what he deserved.

The fact that I feel the Jena 6 are being treated unfairly, does NOT mean I believe they are innocent, and it does NOT mean I am in agreement with Al Sharpton. You are not even listening to what I'm saying, you are just assuming that because I agree with ONE thing that Sharpton is saying, that I agree with ALL of what he is saying.

Don't waste weeks of your life trying to justify why people (of your own race) committed a crime, move on and prevent it from happenning again. God, you were the same guy saying Imus ruined the lives of the Rutgers basketball team for one verbal comment, and here you are saying 6 guys beating the snot out of one white guy is no big deal, how the heck do you sleep at night?

I never said anything of the sort. Imus was unfairly made a pariah for no good reason. Show me any post where I say otherwise.

Why do countries with stricter gun control laws have much lower crime rates? We have the highest gun per capita rate in the world and are one of the most violent countries in the world. Your "facts" would indicate we should be the least violent.

Scotland tops list of world's most violent countries

A UNITED Nations report has labelled Scotland the most violent country
in the developed world, with people three times more likely to be
assaulted than in America.

England and Wales recorded the second highest number of violent assaults while Northern Ireland recorded the fewest.

The
study, based on telephone interviews with victims of crime in 21
countries, found that more than 2,000 Scots were attacked every week,
almost ten times the official police figures. They include non-sexual
crimes of violence and serious assaults.

Violent crime has
doubled in Scotland over the past 20 years and levels, per head of
population, are now comparable with cities such as Rio de Janeiro,
Johannesburg and Tbilisi.

The attacks have been fuelled by a
⁈Å"booze and blades⁈ culture in the west of Scotland which
has claimed more than 160 lives over the past five years. Since January
there have been 13 murders, 145 attempted murders and 1,100 serious
assaults involving knives in the west of Scotland. The problem is made
worse by sectarian violence, with hospitals reporting higher admissions
following Old Firm matches.

...and what kind of gun control laws does Scotland have?

You have three guesses...

How ironic. After all the time spent bashing polls and surveys, you now want us to take the word of a poll over the word of official police statistics.
