I agree, especially when there's another future hall of famer still out there, that would cost nothing (except money)...

How does the following line up sound?



Ichiro(CF) , Jeter(SS). Teixeira(1B), A-Rod(3B), Matsui(DH), Posada(C), Nady(RF), Damon(LF), Cano or Hudson(2B). Sounds like a winning line up to me.

Add in a rotation of CC, AJ, Wang, Joba and Erik Bedard. Oh, if a trade was made with M's, I do think Bedard would be included. Makes financial sense for M's. Also, if Damon were included with Swisher and Kennedy and two prospects like Duncan and Coke or Robertson, it would make finanical sense of Yanks too. So, you have two possible trades here for Ichiro and Bedard. The first, Cano, Kennedy, Swisher, Duncan and Coke or Robertson. Second, Damon, Swisher, Kennedy or Hughes, Duncan and Coke or Robertson.
