As I Sit back and digest this news about Arod has made me start to thing about a few things.

First surpirse surpirse 1 week until spring training starts and now we have more news about Steriods. Every year for the last 3 some big news story happens shortley before spring training to try to put a damper on baseball as a whole. Yet have you have been hearing anything about the NFL are you trying to tell me that baseball players are the only ones that use Roids. Come On. The fact is the Media loves all things Football and go out of there way to protect there players much like reporters covered up stories in the past about baseball players. The cheating on there wives the drinking using Mantle as an example.

Now Arod is just another star player accused of doing roids as I sit here I still dont want to believe it but however if true does anybody really care? Name after name gets revealed and it amazes me that his name is the only of the 104 to get released. This was a wide spread problem throughout baseball and alot of names problably have done it and are flying under the radar. But does it really matter anymore do we need a new list of names every baseball season. The fact of the Matter Steriods were not banned at the time most of these players used them and are now. Its like saying ok we are going to ban working out any of you that worked out before this banned now are going to be labiled as a cheat. I am not saying that these players are right or wrong for what they did however baseball has had a history of cheats I dont see anybody trying to take away 300 wins form perry when he admitted to doctoring the ball. So where does it end. How is baseball suppose to move on when constantly the are reminded of the past. Do we really need to have these guys paraded every year as the cheats as Football gets a free pass.

As far as Arod if fond guilty, Bonds Mcgwire, Sosa, Clemens they should let the Fans vote on weither they are hall of famers not the media who make a living bringing these players and this sport down.

Last point I want to make is another post made a good point about Ortiz I have thought that for a long time. Also anybody ever questions loveable posada who has a 275 lifetime batting average then suddenly bats 330 in a contract year?
