Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling left the team and went back to Boston today to meet with team doctor Thomas Gill and have an MRI on his shoulder.

So, let me get this straight, you get shelled in a game and you immediately have to get an MRI? Just how does that work? L.M.A.O.

I usually don't laugh at an opponents possible injury, it's usually frowned upon when someone does it to the Yanks.

I'm not laughing at an injury ... I'm laughing at the fact that a player immediately BELIEVES he has an injury just because he had a bad game!

I watched the game, stunned at what I saw. His topped out fastball was I think 91mph, but he was hitting 87-89 most of the night. At one point, he started out with a 0-0 change-up to the Braves pitcher, I mean, he really got shelled . It was classic, watching him stomp around staring at the sky hoping the rain kicked in.

Ya know, I could be wrong...but I think Schilling might feel something in his shoulder which would warrant him getting an MRI before he'd just go get one "for the h.ell of it."

Yeah ... and now he is hoping that he has an injury ... how pathetic! And people actually try to say that he could ever be a Yankee ... no thanks Curt ... we already had Randy and that didn't work out!

I don't think him getting an MRI is funny, nor that he automatically thought he needed one. He probably has some soreness, and just to be "safe", the TEAM sent him to have an MRI done.. just to be sure, so he doesn't injure it, should something be going on.

I actually LOVED the way he pitched last night.. LOL. I think it stemmed from his recent 9 inning outing (where he almost had a no hitter, until the 9th), and that took a HUGE toll on him, due to age.

Since that outing, he has been abysmal. He recorded NO strikeouts at all, and that's the first time since in like 14 years!! :-)

But, the MRI is likely not just his idea.. but that of team doctors. So.. let's not laugh. The Yankees have had injuries, and we knew it would be a matter of time before the Sox suffered theirs. So, let's keep GOOD KARMA going.. OK?
