"More importantly the R/S players have no fear of the Yankees. When asked who is the biggest hurdle to get to the World Series it was the Tigers followed by the Angels. Yankees are'nt even on their radar screen."
Really...well my oh my do I hope you're right, it will make the 3rd baaaastan masacre that much sweeter
Guys, I'm not bashing anyone. I don't do that. Can you say the same?
Let's see what happens. I like my chances to get to the postseason. You like yours. It's all good. Just stop with the 26 stuff and all that nonsense. It has NOTHING to do with what happens THIS year. Why even bring it up?
As I said before, it's comical that the author started this thread when the Sox are on a 5 game win streak and lead MLB in wins.
The point is you're on a Yankee board looking for our acceptance because your organzation had been a loser 88 of the last 89 years.
Why would be on a Yankee board and Not red sox board? Hmm can you say wanna be. Since you are so called red sox fan who didn't even know who played 3rd base for them in 1999 (((( why would u be on the best team in history of sports board?
LOL @ looking for acceptance. I'm here because I live in Yankee country and know more Yankee fans that I do Sox fans. I was told about this site from some of my friends who are Yankee fans and we love talking rivalry baseball. The only thing is, we can handle the dialog. You can't. They (my friends) are here too and post as Yankee fans because they are. We all get a good laugh at the expense of many of you, (mostly the phonies) but the true fan is enjoyable to interact with.
Been a season ticket holder since 1990 sec 3 box 201 f seat 1 and 2. The fact you need to come on our board and cry about your loser team and run to my thread proves everything. I also know when I asked you on another thread you said wade boggs played 3rd base for red sox not Valetine. So my bet is your a bitter Met fan from 2000 who jumped ship when red sox finally won 1 title in the last 90 years.
You really need to stop living in the past and accept the fact that between the yankees and red sox the red sox have won the most recent W/S and are 71/2 games up in todays standings.
But if the 20th century brings you fond memeries I can't fault you for your inability or unwillingness to deal with the realities of the 21st century.
This century has not been kind to Yankee fans while at the same time has brought joy to RSN."
Baseball is a zero sum game. It's not what we've done in the oh too distant "20th Century". Guess what? It's not what you idiots did in 2004 either. Keep on thinking that you'd relish the opportunity to play us in the playoffs. I can't wait until we break your pathetic heart once again.
I've got pitcher's mound dirt from game five of the '78 Series. Do you?
Didn't think so.
Now go back to the SOSH website and do what you do best (let me give you a hint. It requires knee pads).
