Major League is about what you are doing right now and Gagne has an ERA of 2.16 and Pepelbon has an ERA of 2.15 now give me reason why people shouldn't be scared of Red Sox. Oh yea they also have this guy named Okajima who has an ERA of .87 in 51 inn. Look I am a yankee fan but what Red Sox did is go above and beyond their needs kind of what we did when we went out and got Abreu even though we really didn't need offense. I see what you are saying but just look at their bullpen stats.

Gabbard isn't anything more than a 5starter in the AL down the road, he did well because he was flying under the radar, that isn't going to happen, he is expendable

Donnelly doesn't matter, he is out, Tavarez?

The point is that 7-8-9, could go Okajima, Gagne and Papelbon.

Who really wants to face that?

Curt Schilling in about a week, maybe earlier, Tavarez may get a start to bridge the gap.

Beckett, Matsuzaka, Lester, Schilling, Wakefield

Then there is Clay Buchholz in AAA, who is probably the best pitching prospect in the minors right now (that hasn't played in the majors, obviously Hughes is still in the minors...)

They are doing ok.

Velocity has been down, long season, that can happen, but he is still getting the job done, plus Gagne allows him more rest if needed.

That is quite a bullpen the RS have.
