Did Favre throw the game?

Favre's passes in the fourth quarter looked so bad you have to wonder if he wasn't trying the help the Giants win. What was Green Bay's Q4 total offense, minus 4 yards?

There's no good reason, but there's also no good explanation for how he became one of the worst passers in all of football in the last 10 minutes of the game. He looked like a beginner out there, throwing behind guys, over their heads, horrible.

I have to assume you're kidding right? Because nobody could possibly create a thread like this and be serious.

Hitting counts? Hmmm, sounds like you had a few hits to your head. Sorry, but it just drives me nuts whenever people look for a negative reason like that. Perhaps we tried to throw it by missing a few fieldgoals too. :-(

Obviously you are a green bay fan because no giant fan can be that naive. With all the hype about the weather, Favre is not a great cold weather player. Look at the game in chicago? His comments after the game were I am glad this is over I have the cold weather. He was getting hit a lot in the late part of the game and the giants were pressuring him. I have a lot of respect for him even as a giant fan and to say he threw a game is a disgrace.

Thanks for at least addressing the issue, which is how Favre the legend could be that bad in the fourth quarter. And as far as Giants defense, I don't buy it - Favre had a lot of time in the pocket for those throws.

Favre getting wild and throwing INTs under pressure isn't exactly unusual. He's done it several times in his career.

he did have alot of time in the pocket, but with the exeption of a poor throw in ot, he had nowhere to throw the ball all day.. the giants basically sent in only their fron 4 and totally shut down every packer on offense, including the run
