I hope so, but you rarely see a QB go from mediocre to elite
overnight. The most impressive part is the turnovers - no
fumbles, no Ints, no wobbly ducks thrown off his back foot, no
retreating 10-15 yards trying to avoid a sack. The occasional
poorly thrown pass, but, jeez, it is like day and night.

it's foolish to think that Eli all of the sudden is in top 5 or 6 of the whole league. I'm a huge giants fans and never called for Eli's head. Fact of the matter he's prob about avg or just above avg in the league. Hopefully with this confidence he's gotten it'll carry over to next yr but to think he's all that cuz of 3 big games is a bit of a stretch. I put the below as better.

-Brady, manning, favre, palmer, bulger, mcnabb, hasselback, delhomme, brees

The below about the same

Garrard, rothlesburger, anderson, kitna, garcia,

Whoa, I never said Eli is Simms, at least not yet. However, I have said this before, Simms was a late bloomer who started off bad for the first few seasons. His first four seasons make Eli's first four seasons look tremendous, but yes his lack of receivers were a large part of that. Eli isn't Simms, but he still has a terrific chance to be.
