He's definitely passed a few QB's, where do you think he is as far as best in the league? I think he's around 5th or 6th now, when at the start of the playoffs he was like 10th or 11th. Thoughts?

IMO, the only guys who are definitely better than Eli (no question) are Brady and Peyton (of course), Carson Palmer (although he had a bad year he's still a great QB), Hasselback, and Farve (although he's getting older and might not be back next year). There are many others you can debate, but there's no other QB where you'd be crazy to take Eli instead of any other QB.

Eli "magic" Manning has gone from question mark to ELITE. And he did it without the loudmouthed Jeremy Shockey.

dont blame it on shockey yet. If eli plays the way he did in the middle of the season next year, then u can give shockey the blame

Hopefully Shockey won't be around that long.

Seriously bro- if we made it to the super bowl without him, why not make that super bowl team even better by trading Shockey. Think about it. If right now we could trade Shockey (before the Super Bowl) and turn his roster spot into another shutdown Corner or LB to make the current team better- you do it. Obviously we can't trade him now, but the papers are going to scream trade in two weeks. The football hot stove is already hot.

It is hard to say because I don't think the player we have been watching the past 4 game is really Eli Manning. I think it is a clone of Phil Simms made up to look like Eli - a very good, if not great quarterback, whose biggest strength was not making mistakes at critical times (or pretty much any other time either).

It's not Phil Simms, it's really Eli Manning, who has finally turned the corner in his career.
