"Hey guys, I'm back again after some meditation and try to forget what happened last Sunday ( congratulations Gians an some ny fans). I was reading about what happened in the SB, this erase 2004 according to you. I will tell you this, it hurts a lot, but I think is easier to win a game than 4. Footaball and BB are very diferent sports. You just need to have a very good day and you can beat anybody. I dont think is the same to Giants to beat NE and one game ( dont matter stats) than Boston beating NY 4 times in a row. You need to be good 4 days instead just one, but I know your enjoying this and you deseve it.

Your Thoughts."

My thought is you are a dunce.frown

Baseball and football are very different, though the rivalry remains. I'll play along, though.

1. One game in football basically represents 5 or 6 games in baseball given the schedule.
2. The ALCS were playoff games. The Super Bowl was the big one.
3. The Yankees were not riding a 162 game win streak chasing perfection.
4. The Sox and Yankees were basically on even terms. The Giants were supposedly not even fit to tie the Patriots shoelaces.

2004 hurt Yankee fans and continues to hurt us. I'm pretty certain 2008 will hurt Patriot fans for years to come.

And bad spellers of the world untie!

It didn't involve just one game for the Giants to win the SB. They were a wild card team. They had to go into Dallas and then into Green Bay and beat two heavily favored teams. Then they had to face an even more heavily favored team, a team that was 18-0.
They had to drive 83 yards with 2:52 minutes left to win the game.
That's MUCH more impressive than winning four games in a row in a series that didn't determine the world champs.
Baseball teams take four in a row from other teams relatively often.
Sometimes, baseball teams take five games in a row from a team.
Like a few years ago.
Like the Yanks did to Boston.
