I hate how everybody is always on ARODs butt contract or not is it really that much more then other players say giambi for instance who is a 260 hitter now. AROD wins the MVP 2 years ago. Last year A down year He hit 290 35 hrs 121 rbi's. yea he isnt the greatest in the clutch . And he hit for nothing in the playoffs but so did the whole team. He isnt Jeter he will never be Jeter. Jeter came in and wasnt expected to carry the team so what he did in the playoffs which im not taking anything away from was without the pressure of being the man. Lets face it AROD is a great player every team in baseball would like to have a cleanup hitter with his numbers and that was a down year. There are alot of players on this team that failed last year. In the end AROD may go down as the best hitter ever its sad to think that us Diehard yankee fans are going to run him out of town and watch as he breaks all kind of records somewhere else all to do with unrealistic expectations that 25 million a year force him to live up to. Yea Jeter is the man but even now he doesnt have to carry the team. Remember when 35 hrs was a great year.

Nah, even if we let him breathe, he'd just choke on the air.

I hope '07 brings us a humble and less dramatic A-Rod. No one is ever bigger than this game.

It's about time we had some A-Rod threads around here! This place is getting to be all Melky, all time!

Let's keep Melky and trade A-Rod for Gonzalez. >:-)
