New Jersey have lost 3 in a row. Kevin Weekes was pulled in the 5-2 loss over the Rangers and does not look like a #1. They have a home and home with Washington starting tonight. Should they be looking for a replacement until brodeur comes back late in the season to keep them contending or just let it go.


Their lineup has been decimated with injuries so it'll be interesting to see what happens.

I'd look at Roloson in Edmonton and Mason in ST Louis.Please no Khabibulin too much $ even with the cap relief due because of Marty's injury.

i played washington and keyed them in a parlay tonight .. i couldnt believe that effort the other night by the devils .. weekes stinks but a couple of goals were the cause of very laxed defensive play .. they very much miss paul martin as well as brodeur , and a bobby holik as a good 2 way player and rolson on special teams .. if it wasnt for the cap i wouldnt be suprised if big lou wanted to shake a few forwards by signing sergei brylin who you knew would do whatever he was asked to do .. giving up 5 goals to the ranger is unacceptable even if the refs blew a couple of calls

I didn't bet tonight but I'm thinking that if the Caps don't get lulled to sleep by the Devils that they are gonna blow the doors off them this weekend. Ovie, Semin and Backstrom are just flying as the 1 line. Sutter must be pulling his hair out. He always looks like he's in a bad mood to begin with let alone all this going on.

yeah what did ovechkin have like 5 points the other night ?? actually in my parlay i layed 1 1/2 with washington because they were 2-1 favorite and i cant thinkl of a time i would give a goal and half to nj unless it was v before 94 like mick said

Semin had 5, Backstrom 4, and Ovie 4 I think. Ovie scored in the 1st on the pp. against the Devils, 1-0 end of the period. clemmensen is in net.

They gave the goal to Laich instead of Ovechkin. I hope you didn't bet Buffalo Jimmy. Columbus is up 3-0

So I guess maybe Marty will get some of the credit he deserves soon .The Devs are 1-5 without him with the only win coming via the shootout vs. Tampa .For years I've listened to the so called experts say Marty was the product of the Devils system .Well they were 6-2 with him and even starting to score a little.
