great game, they are very strong !!! they can beat you 2-1 or 6-5 and their stars work just as hard as their 4th liners if not more .. the team to beat in the east


as a gambler since i was a teenager i've seen this a milion times, after beating the bruins friday and sj today look for a letdown in their next game and a possible loss

San Jose is a shell of what they once were.


They have size and a sick offense but they play absolutely 0 defense now that Ron Wilson is gone.


Good win by NJ, wonder how Marty's return is gonna shake out.

I don't agree with your assessment of the Sharks defense. They've lost their last 2 games 6-5, up until friday, they had given up the fewest goals in the western conference. The Sharks coach Todd McLellan was Babcock's assistant in Detroit and has implemented the same system with San Jose, defence first and then capitalize on their opportunities. they are a better team now.

More or less talking about their recent east coast trip.


I was listening to the Sharks broadcast vs. Buffalo and the announcers were saying this team was not playing defense lately and they thought it was due to a divergence from Ron Wilson's system.

I think they've lost 6 of the last 7, 4 out of 5 on this road trip. They'll get a good talkin to once they get back home. They have a good team but I don't think its deep enough to beat the Red Wings come playoff time.
