i guess he'll dress avery now after proving he's no better !!! we're in good hands with schoenfeld but i have a feeling if we dont score first their confidence will be shot and so will the series .. i'm gonna do my part tomorrow and bang out washington big time and that might be enough for us to squeak a 2-1 win

Ironic it was Schoenfield who was suspended after Game 5 in the 1988 play-offs after the Koharski 'have another donut' incident"now he fills in after another play-off suspension.

Considering it is the playoffs I think a fine would have been sufficient, especially considering how ridiculous caps fans and security are. He told them the fan was being a problem, caps security did nothing. In fact in one of the videos the security guard isn't doing anything to remove the guy he is simply blocking tort's view.

There is a double standard in that rink, if you have a caps jersey you can do whatever you want.
As I was leaving the game I was walking up the stairs and a caps "fan" got out of her seat and started giving me the double bird, really pathetic. My wife was stuck behind her trying to get by and when I told this "fan" to move (although not that politely) so my wife could leave she got in my face. The best part was that the usher and a caps employee in a suit saw this. The usher actually told me that I needed to leave, despite that the caps fan was the one being the aggressor. The guy in the suit told me to just ignore it. I told him I would like to but my wife was trapped behind her. And really, ignore it? If it was me flipping a caps fan off I would have been escorted out. Meanwhile nothing happened to this fan. And yes I realize it wasn't something that bad, but it is the principle at least. I am not expecting her to have to leave but for caps employees to just ignore it speaks volumes to me about how that organization is run.

That is the way it always is in that garbage building. Caps fans start stuff and the other teams fans get tossed. Pretty pathetic, I really hope the Rangers can win tomorrow to shut these people up. I don't even care if they go far at this point but I live in the DC area and really don't feel like dealing with these bandwagon fans if we lose.

lol, the best one though was the heckling I got walking back to my seats at one point. I was wearing my lundqvist jersey and some fan yelled "you $uck" I got back to my seat and told my wife and the caps guy next to her, who wasn't bad, I think someone confused me with Henrik. lol

So the guy who benched Avery for lack of discipline gets suspended for throwing a water bottle at a fan.

lol, actually she was kind of hot.

But it just goes to show you where the caps priorities are when it comes to security. And so when I read that all the people interviewed and all the security guards said nothing happened, I find it hard to believe.
