You need a better cable package then. tongue

ESPN-U shows a weekly game on Sundays around 4pm or 5pm, unfortunately it conflicts with football for the first half of the college season. They don't always get the greatest games because they're contracted with the ECAC to do games about every other week. They also usually show a few big games "Michigan-Notre Dame" and "Army-Air Force".

Any games between 2 Big Ten teams are shown on the Big Ten Network. Since the BTN is affiliated with Fox Sports, sometimes those games filter down to off hours programming on FSNY or MSG. I've also seen them on the "Fox College Sports" channels. Fox has 3 of them (Atlantic, Central, and Pacific) and they basically grab college programming from their family of networks to fill airtime.

As far as the local stations are concerned... FS-NY has been known in the past to pick up a game or 2 from NESN or WABU for Boston University. Why, I have no clue. SNY has picked up several games in the past few years between upstate NY teams. Time-Warner Cable in Albany/Central NY broadcasts a good number of games involving Union/RPI/Cornell/Colgate/Clarkson/St. Lawrence and SNY picks up probably half of them.

Also, coming back to MSG this holiday season is the BU-Cornell game. Two years ago, they came darn close to selling out MSG for the first college game at the World's Most Famous Arena in 20 years. They are looking for another good showing this year. I went to the MSG game 2 years ago to support the sport (I hate the 2 teams) but this year I'm lookinging to travel out to St. Paul to see Clarkson in the Mariucci Classic depending on my financial ability. I'm already making the trip out to East Lansing in October to see Clarkson v. Michigan State for the first 2 games between the storied programs since 1968.

I went to high school with Shawn Weller's little sister. He graduated the year before I was a freshman. He used to go into all the gym classes when they were doing floor hockey. They had to stop playing cause he broke 3 of the nets

That's a funny story toxic. Weller had a disappointing first full campaign in pro hockey but he did get better as the season went on. I think he'll have a better season in the AHL this year and he'll eventually become a decent 3rd/4th liner in the NHL. I think he made a mistake by foregoing his senior year but hopefully he'll achieve his dream. He comes from a very supportive family who has remained supportive of Clarkson hockey after his departure. I ran into Mr. Weller several times this season at Clarkson games.

Isn't it a match made in heaven jimmy? I always think of the Flyers as a dirty team from the days of the broad street bullies and now they have the dirtiest player in the league after trading for Pronger.

I just don't understand the Flyers sometimes though. Why they continue to dabble in signing garbage to play net is beyond me.

yeah dinsy, the dirtiest franchise in history now has the dirtiest player in the game !! his suspensions have been way shorter then they should have been, including bettman letting him start the playoffs !! bettman likes suspending philly's players because they like to fight so this should be interesting .. and youre right theyve never been shy at spending money but never adress the goalie
