I didn't post on this part of the board back then, but its true, people are angry with this war and its showing in the poll. The republican congress was equally unpopular... I mean congress always has a low approval rating and but people frequently like thier own congressman. Just look at the current races, Virginia is going to go democratic, New Mexico will also likely switch... then you have very close races in Minnesota, New Hampshire, Colorado, Maine, Oregon... etc. Louisiana might switch to the republicans but most experts say that democrats will gain in both houses. History shows us that the country goes through stages, and we are finishing the republican stage and beginning a democratic one.

None of them last very long... usually 8 years or so for each branch. I mean every poll right now shows the majority of the country favors democrats. And the key to that I believe is the polling that I posted earlier that democrats for the first time in decades is trusted more by the american people on national security, the war in Iraq and fighting terrorism, as well as domestic issues. Republicans have been winning over this past decade by saying we're stronger on national security but the american people aren't buying it anymore and they are ready to give the democrats a try. My prediction is a democratic congress and white house for the next 6 and 8 years respectively.

Thats great that you have one, but when you walk down the street and see everyone not wearing one do you get offended by each of them? Or do you look around the stadium and get offended by each person who isn't covering their heart during the national anthem? In my opinion you are looking for reasons to not like him, and you are inventing and over reacting to non issues. He's about as clean of a canidate as you can get.

I'll file this one away along with Howard Dean talking about the 6th year of his Presidency.
