agree... i love the starting rotation already...

you're also right about some arms being in the system... veras, ramirez with hopefully a slider coming in spring (big guy saying he's developing one in fall league at the moment), a healthy humberto sanchez...

also you said, 2 lefties... a lot of proposals for damaso marte already, plus you mentioned kevin whelan... iceman says he has to learn how to work ahead and throw strike 1 with his current scouting report from the fall league he's pitching in...

but with that, i feel bad for gator, but eiland has done real well with hughes plus the rest of the young arms and if he's one of the coaches next year, i feel good with him handling the pitching staff... so does big guy wink

i just find it hard to believe that they will dump gator. if torre leaves i could see them making him the bench coach for the new manager, but to just throw him out the door would surprise me.

i have the same feeling... especially since big guy says kerrigan is going back to the phillies for a media-related job... but from everything i hear, eiland deserves to be a coach up here in the big leagues especially with most of the young arms up here...

of course, i hope they resolve this thing with gator... also, i hope by the end of today, the official decision comes out with torre being back next year too... then they can go on to resigning the other guys cool

would be nice...

also, i hope mazzone isn't even on their minds with the way he handled a project like daniel cabrera and the amount of money he'll want...
