One dimensional. They ran the ball okay and when they put the game in Eli Manning's had he was awful. The play calling on offense was pretty bad and the defense played well enough to win. Eli was great last year but a decent performance out of him would have given the team a chance to win. Eli quite simply did not give the Giants a legitimate chance of winning today. His performance was not at the acceptable level of an NFL quarterback.

first of all it is not all hisfault. Too many injuries , the wind and the offense failed to convert, plus two failed field goals attempts.

I'm sorry, but I don't see how you can use the wind as an excuse, 1- when you play half your season there, and 2- when the other team and their QB were hardly effected by it.

No defense and they were running ball to much.

you cant use wind as an excuse. if you are a good team you can play in anything and the eagles had to play in the same wind. bottom line giants just s ucked today

Eli doesn't throw a tight spiral and today it killed him. McNabb does and he didn't have a problem.Coughlin not deffering was really stupid when Eli really needed the wind at his back in the 4th quarter. The way he played though I don't know if it would have made a differance.

All around mistakes, many by the offense. Manning had trouble calibrating his throws with those wind conditions, I do agree. But how many opportunities they had and couldnt come through. give credit to phila. too, they played awesome.

I thought the real turning point came in q3, when they had phila 3rd and 20. had they stopped them they had great field position and I have a gut feeling that game would have been totally different. really too bad. hey, i wonder if spags winds up leaving now? wouldnt surprise me. i hope not, as i think he did a great job for us since arriving.

well, now it is really going to be a long off season. at least if the gmen made it to the superbowl, then it would only be a couple of weeks after that til pitchers and catchers report.

You can't use it as an excuse. This isn't an isolated case. They play 8 games there every season with these conditions. It's not like it was the first time the wind ever blew during a Giants home game.

I agree with you and am not making excuses for him. Just stating the fact he doesn't throw a tight spiral . He killed the Giants today and he should by now know how to handel these conditions. He also drives me nuts with his delay of game penaltys or having to call timeouts instead. Every game it happens.
