His worse nemessis ALEX RODRIGUEZ!!! He was the pitcher of record when Alex hit 4 homers and 10 runs batted in. That was Alex's total for that day. Let Boston have him, there is a reason the Angels didn't tender an offer I would have loved it to be 4 ... but the number of homeruns was 3 ... and the rbi were 10 as you stated.

Are there any legs to the rumor that Buckholz is starting in AAA?
|
|
Right now Colon is like the Red Sox 6th or 7th pitcher on their depth chart. It's a low risk/decent reward signing.

Stay away from Freddy Garcia. He had rotator cuff problems last year. That's why nobody wants him. Let the Red Sox pay for Colon he's always hurt anyway.

In a perfect world, that's what the Red Sox wanted. He barely played at AAA last year. In fact, the night he was called up to pitch that no-hitter, he was scheduled to pitch against SWB. Once Bloody Sock got hurt that threw their plans up in the air.

Buchholz won't improve his game in the minors. He's too advanced for AAA hitters. Its funny this bond the Sox have to Wakefield. Buchholz is probably their 2nd best pitcher RIGHT NOW and they can't find a spot for him. We should be glad if the Sox don't utilize him correctly this year.
