I never had anything against Francona, he's a classy guy who is fair. There are times where I think he's too classy for the Red Sox uniform. I agree, he did do a very good job managing the game.

Have to agree with Iron Horse here. Francona did not do a "great" job. What did he do that was great? Yes, they won, but great?


The K-Rod/Mo 9th was bad. Yes, he got Jeter, A-Rod and Mo some cheers, but that is separate from managing the game.


I think Francona is classy and treated the Yankees well, but I don't think he managed a great game.

I could pick about 50 things wrong with your post but I'm not going to waste my time with you. You bring nothing to the table except a know it all attitude that you don't deserve. You are the only person that thinks Francona did a bad job managing. You might THINK that you know more about managing the ASG than Francona, but you are sadly mistaken. You fail at this topic...and probably life.
